The 8th International Conference on Smart Cities, Internet of Things, and Applications (SCIoT2024) concluded on May 15th, 2024, at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad's Computer Engineering Faculty. We are thrilled to report a highly successful conference that brought together leading researchers, practitioners, and industry experts from around the world.
The official opening ceremony commenced at 8:30 am on Wednesday, May 15th, marking the beginning of a day filled with knowledge exchange and networking.
We were honored to welcome esteemed keynote speakers, Prof. Dr. Amin Beheshti and Prof. Raja Jurdak, who shared their invaluable insights on the cutting edge of smart cities and IoT advancements.
The conference program featured a rich selection of approximately 50 accepted papers, alongside informative workshops and dedicated meeting sessions. These sessions fostered lively discussions and provided valuable opportunities for participants to delve deeper into the latest advancements in the field.
The closing ceremony, held at 7:00 pm on May 15th, marked the culmination of a truly inspiring event. We are incredibly grateful to all who contributed to the success of SCIoT2024, including our esteemed keynote speakers, authors, presenters, attendees, sponsors, and the organizing committee. In this ceremony, we also recognized the outstanding work with the Best Paper Awards and expressed our sincere appreciation to our sponsors for their invaluable support.
